Aquarius | The Water Bearer (January 20-February 18)
Aquarius brings an intelligent, original presence to the world, just the kind of energy we need in the first two months of the year! They’re a really unique combination of forces that make them a powerhouse; they’re both dreamers and doers.
As their place at the beginning of the calendar year might suggest, Aquarius is future-oriented. They’re fantastic visionaries, deeply innovative and very intuitive.
Aquarius are often justice based. They’re willing to bring their considerable skills and talents to work to create a better, more just world. If there’s an underdog, you can expect Aquarius to be rooting for him.
Aquarius is very social and can be gregarious and charming, but can also be quite resistant to criticism or nay-sayers, particularly where their dreams are concerned. They tend to be excellent communicators, however, which sets them apart from some of the other signs. They don’t just have great ideas; they can communicate those great ideas, which means they can motivate others to work towards the same vision!
Aquarius can use Zodiac crystals to harness their many natural talents, and help bring balance to places they may be weak. Here are the best crystals for Aquarius:
1. Fluorite
Some kinds of fluorite are fluorescent under an ultraviolet light (the term “fluorescence” actually comes from the gemstone itself!). And if you’ve ever worked with fluorite, you totally understand: this gorgeously-colored, bright light of a stone clears the mind, releases spiritual cleansing, and helps you tap into your intuitive abilities.

4. Aquamarine
A water stone for a water sign! Aquamarine is one of our favorites, and while that *might* be because its gorgeous blue-greens remind us of a tropical vacation, it’s also because it’s a deeply calming, soothing stone. For an Aquarius struggling to relax, aquamarine can really come in handy!
Aquamarine is also great for promoting self-expression, which means it can help an Aquarius do what they’re already good at: communicate effectively.

5. Apatite
Apatite is THE motivation and goals stone, and its vibes are a natural match for Aquarius’ visionary, future-oriented planning skills. Expect great growth as apatite helps tie your heart into your goals, so that your entire being is working in tandem, totally focused and efficient.

6. Pyrite
Pyrite is also known as “fool’s gold,” but don’t be fooled (see what we did there?) into thinking this stone isn’t extremely valuable. Its protective nature serves an Aquarius especially well, particularly for those Aquarius visionaries who find themselves in the public eye and/or under the microscope. Aquarius can envision pyrite as a sort of energizing shield around her, fending off toxicity so she’s free to focus on the change her world needs. Pyrite is also a stone of creativity and leadership, and helps natural leader like Aquarius step into her full potential.
Pair it with grapefruit, peppermint, or frankincense, and set it somewhere where you’ll see it often, to remind you that you were meant for this job.
7. Rhodochrosite
Rhodochrosite does two things that make it extremely helpful for an Aquarius. First, it amplifies Aquarius’ passion and love. Second, it opens the heart chakra, removing any obstacles to love that keep Aquarius from fully manifesting love in all their relationships.
